Why join the Tasmanian State Service?
A diverse and inclusive workplace
The Tasmanian State Service (TSS) values the unique experiences, skills, and perspectives that Veterans bring to the workforce. Our goal is to foster a workplace where everyone, including Veterans, feel welcomed, supported, and empowered to thrive.
We are committed to providing an inclusive and respectful environment, free from discrimination, that reflects the diversity of our community. As a Veteran, your life experiences and expertise are invaluable, and we want to ensure you can succeed.
TSS employees come from various backgrounds - diverse in gender, ethnicity, culture, age, and more. This diversity enriches our work and strengthens our ability to serve the Tasmanian community. Whether your military service has given you leadership, problem-solving, teamwork, or specialised technical skills, there’s a place for you here.
