The Tasmanian State service supports and encourages women working in operational and field-based roles
DNRET’s See it. Dream it. Do it. Project
See It. Dream It. Do It. is an exciting initiative aimed at increasing the visibility of the variety of operational and field-based roles that women are employed in at the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania. There are over 140 of these jobs in the Department, covering a diverse range of technical, compliance, construction, scientific and interpretation-based work.
By showcasing women working in these areas, DNRET seeks to encourage young women to consider operational and field-based careers, where females have traditionally been underrepresented. Some of the Department’s exciting and varied roles are featured in the video clips below. If you’re inspired to discover careers like these, visit the Jobs Subscription page to make sure you’re notified next time an operational or field-based position becomes available.
DNRET is committed to gender equality, and as part of its Gender Equality Action Plan, is seeking to remove actual or potential barriers to gender equality in the workplace.
